Permanent Endowment Fund

Growing a legacy

Donations can also be restricted to the St. Luke’s Permanent Endowment Fund (PEF).  The PEF is managed by a separate entity and includes the following funds:

  • The John E. Newman Memorial Endowment for Education supports professional development for teachers, staff, trustees, and volunteers to help them better serve our students.
  • The Estates of Dorothy “Fritzi” Abbot and Maxine S. Thom support literacy, financial aid, and general operating expenses.
  • The John R. Foster Service Scholarship Fund provides for a full-tuition, three-year scholarship to be awarded annually to a qualified rising 6th grade student with demonstrated financial need.

An endowment is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding that will grow and support the school in perpetuity. When you contribute to the endowment, you are establishing a legacy of support for St. Luke's.
