Admission at St. Luke's is competitive, and demand has grown significantly in recent years. Enrollment grew 20% for the 2026–2027 school year alone, with several grade levels reaching capacity and moving to a waitpool.

A few things to know:

• Enrollment has grown steadily, thanks in large part to referrals from families already here
• Several grades fill early each year, so timing your application matters
• A waitpool doesn't mean the door is closed; families can roll their application to the following year
• We grow thoughtfully, so we're committed to staying small enough that every child is known

Because seats fill quickly in high-demand grades, we encourage families to begin the process as early as possible rather than waiting until the year they hope to enroll.

Absolutely! St. Luke's welcomes public school transfers, and it's one of the more common paths families take to get here.

Families often make the switch for:

• Daily chapel and a values-centered environment
• Small class sizes with more individual attention
• Close parent partnerships with teachers and staff

During the admission process, our teachers use benchmark assessments to identify any academic gaps and build a plan with you to get your child on track, so the transition feels supported, not sink-or-swim.

Applications open in September, with a December Early Decision deadline, so most families begin the process the fall before their child would enroll.

The journey typically looks like this:

• Submit your application and required admission materials
• Meet with our team as we get to know your child and family

Note: children in PK3–Kindergarten don't attend the tour, so parents can have a more relaxed, focused visit. Students in 3rd–8th grade are welcome to join, when possible.

Yes! St. Luke's allocates a generous financial aid budget every year to make a St. Luke's education possible for mission-fit families.

A few key things to know:

• It's assistance, not a loan. Awards never need to be repaid
• All families are encouraged to apply, regardless of income
• TEFA recipients (Texas Education Freedom Accounts) can also apply for Financial Aid on top of their award
• Awards are need-based and require reapplication each year
