Summer On the Hilltop

A Summer of Learning, Friendship, and Fun

Summer on the Hilltop gives children opportunities to explore new interests, build skills, make friends, and enjoy learning in the welcoming St. Luke’s community. Led by experienced teachers and instructors, our camps combine hands-on activities with the strong relationships and joyful learning that define the St. Luke’s experience.

Summer programming includes themed day camps in June, academic camps in August, and optional enrichment classes. Programs are open to both St. Luke’s students and children from the wider community.

June Day Camps

Our June camps offer engaging weekly themes for children ages 4–10. Campers participate in creative projects, active play, collaborative challenges, and other hands-on experiences designed to encourage curiosity and connection.

Regular camp hours are 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The week of June 22–26 will include afternoon-only sessions because of Vacation Bible School at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

August Academic Camps

Our half-day Academic Camps help students entering Kindergarten through sixth grade begin the new school year with confidence. Students can prepare for Kindergarten, refresh important reading, writing, and mathematics skills, and become more comfortable with the routines of school.

Academic Camps are taught by St. Luke’s faculty and combine focused skill-building with engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Summer Enrichment

Optional enrichment classes allow children to explore interests such as STEM, coding, art, music, drama, dance, and athletics. Classes are designed to help students try something new, develop their talents, and have fun with other children who share their interests.

Enrichment classes are offered after camp from 3:30–4:15 p.m. or 3:30–4:30 p.m. Enrollment in a June day camp is not required to participate in enrichment.
