Dear Friends of St. Luke’s,
I am grateful for your support during these extraordinary times. The 2020–2021 school year is one to remember for many reasons, but while the challenges we faced were unprecedented, what I will remember most is St. Luke’s faithful commitment to academic and personal excellence, lifelong learning, and service to others.
I would like to recognize St. Luke’s incredibly talented faculty and staff, which while facing so many new challenges personally and professionally, remained dedicated to our student-centered mission. I would also like to thank our students and parents for demonstrating perseverance and resilience. Together we lived out The St. Luke’s Way.
I continue to be humbled and inspired by our St. Luke’s community which showed continued support through generous financial gifts. We are grateful for the leadership of Kelly and Derrek Weaver, our St. Luke’s Fund Chairs, Meredith Howard and Lauren McLaughlin, our Kaleidoscope Chairs, and Lynnette Embrey and Kelly Weaver for their service to our capital campaign. Led by these wonderful St. Luke’s stewards and their committees, we were able to surpass our fundraising goals. It was a monumental task requiring our entire community’s unwavering belief in and dedication to St. Luke’s mission.
Your gifts allow us to:
• enhance the depth and breadth of the core curriculum
• attract and maintain excellent faculty
• ensure ongoing technological advancements
• improve campus buildings and grounds
Thank you to our alumni and their families, who support us financially and return to campus to reconnect with students, faculty, and staff. Each of you is a blessing and a testament to the St. Luke’s experience. On behalf of all of us at SLES, please accept our deepest gratitude for the parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends whose names fill the following pages. Your gifts have truly made a difference.
May our Lord bless you today and always.
