Sophie Zertuche
3rd Grade Teacher
Sophie Zertuche is excited to join the St. Luke’s Episcopal School community as a 3rd-grade Math teacher. A San Antonio native, she earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Trinity University. Sophie is certified in Core Subjects EC–6, Science of Teaching Reading (STR), and ESL, and has taught elementary math and science in a variety of educational settings. She is passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Outside of the classroom, Sophie enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, and she is honored to become part of the St. Luke’s family.
