Not Just a Splash of Paint: Art Classroom Remodel

Students are enjoying a newly renovated art studio space due to the generosity of 2nd grade parent, Mr. Wesley Moncrief. This beautiful space inspires and engages our students with a new teal color palette designed to spark creativity. Some upgrades include new windows, flooring, walls, and four functional art tables. The state-of-the-art tables have storage galore, electrical outlets, and metal stools that attach to the underside of the tables via magnets to raise them off the floor for quick and easy cleanup. In addition to these upgrades, the students now benefit from a large presentation board, facilitating an enriched classroom experience.

Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair, Amanda Bennett has high expectations for her students and is thrilled to be a recipient of such an amazing gift. To add to the classroom experience, her students enjoy their lessons on a new large presentation board. Built-in drying racks and many other features were added to elevate the daily art experience.
