Celebrating the Magic of Early Childhood: Week of the Young Child at St. Luke’s
At St. Luke’s, we believe in the wonder and joy of early childhood learning. From April 7th–11th, we joined in celebrating the Week of the Young Child, a global event dedicated to honoring our youngest learners, their families, and the devoted educators who guide them.
Sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), this week highlights the vital role early learning plays in shaping a bright future. Our Early Childhood students engaged in a variety of hands-on, Eric Carle-themed activities across literacy, music, art, and STEM. These experiences helped our Tiny Tigers explore, create, and grow while laying a foundation based on faith, kindness, and community.
The week culminated on Friday, April 11th, with PK3-Kinder parents visiting our classrooms after Chapel. They had the opportunity to see firsthand how our students thrive in a warm, nurturing environment that reflects The St. Luke’s Way. It was a wonderful celebration of early learning, where curiosity and creativity come to life!
