Alex Childers (2028)
Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Integrations, Pape Dawson Alex has 14 years of experience in the financial and engineering industries. He spent five (5)years at TechnipFMC (NYSE: FTI), an energy engineering and services company, working across the organization from business development and corporate finance to project engineering and M&A integration. Prior to moving to Pape-Dawson, he spent seven (7) years at Affinius Capital, an institutional investment manager with approximately $35B in of assets under management. During his time there, he closed over $16B in of acquisitions, developments, joint ventures, private fund investments, company acquisitions, and other investments across the capital stack. His role within Pape-Dawson is wide ranging including managing the firm’s acquisition and integration process and other ad hoc corporate initiatives. He is the President of the Dawson Charitable Foundation, serves on the St. Luke’s Episcopal School Board of Trustees, Finance Committee, and Buildings and Grounds Committee. He has previously served several roles within the Urban Land Institute and the Real Estate Council of San Antonio. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University with a focus on real estate and finance.
