Katherine Eckert

Katherine Eckert is thrilled to be teaching fourth-grade ELA at St. Luke’s! After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in kinesiology, Katherine taught elementary physical education for grades kindergarten through fifth. She then taught fifth grade and second grade at a classical school. Drawing on the rigor of classical education and the joy of physical education, Katherine believes in nurturing the whole child and helping each student develop their unique gifts. She looks forward to the vibrant community at St. Luke’s and the light students will shine each day. When she is not teaching, Katherine enjoys reading, crafting, and going to the movies.
