Candice Chapman

Candice Chapman is a dedicated educator with nearly three decades of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students in both general and special education settings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Texas and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Candice holds Texas certifications in Principal EC–12, Special Education EC–12, Science 4–8, Elementary Early Childhood PK–6, and Elementary Self-Contained PK–6. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for building meaningful relationships with students, families, colleagues, and the broader school community. Her passion for mathematics education has led her to teach grades 5 through 12 while designing engaging, differentiated lessons that help every student succeed. As a Department Chair and Team Leader, she has mentored fellow teachers, modeled effective instructional practices, and fostered collaborative learning environments. Candice has extensive experience using student data to develop individualized instruction and support diverse learners, including students receiving special education, 504, gifted, and Pre-AP services. She has also successfully integrated educational technology into both traditional and virtual classrooms to enhance student engagement and achievement. Her leadership philosophy centers on creating supportive, high-expectation classrooms where students are challenged, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Candice is committed to lifelong learning and believes that strong relationships, innovative instruction, and academic excellence are the foundation of student success.
