Absolutely! St. Luke's welcomes public school transfers, and it's one of the more common paths families take to get here.

Does St. Luke's offer scholarships?

Yes, in addition to our need-based financial aid opportunities for K-8 families, we also offer a scholarship specifically for middle school students. The St. Luke’s Pillar Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship awarded to two students (new or returning) entering 5th through 8th grade each year.

Scholarship recipients are expected to embody the pillars of Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership at St. Luke’s by maintaining a high academic average, participating in extracurricular activities, demonstrating excellent character both inside and outside the classroom, and promoting the mission and values of St. Luke’s.

What is the admissions process like, and when should families start?

Connect with us for personalized guidance, but here are some quick answers in the meantime!

Applications open in September, with a December Early Decision deadline, so families usually begin the process the fall before their child would enroll.

The journey typically looks like this:

Submit your application and required admission materials
Meet with our team as we get to know your child and family

Note: children in PK3–Kindergarten don't attend tours, so parents can have a more relaxed, focused visit. Students in 3rd–8th grade are welcome to join, when possible.
