SLES Parent Council Officers 2007-2008

President: Donna Basse
Donna recently served as Vice President for Communications for the Parent Council. She has been a Room Parent, a PATS volunteer, and a leader with the SLES Boy Scouts. A 22-year veteran of the insurance industry, she has co-owned a Third-Party Administrator, served on several insurance boards, and currently manages a local firm. Her husband, Scott, owns several businesses in the transportation industry and their family has had business ties in San Antonio for over 77 years. Their son is in the fourth grade and has been at St. Luke’s since he was four years old.
President -Elect & Treasurer: Bridget Negrón Booth
Bridget recently served as an Asst. Treasurer for the Parent Council. The 07-08 year marks the second year at St. Luke’s for the Booth family and Bridget has also been a member of the Auction Party committee and a Room Parent. Bridget is married to Mike, General Manager of Allways Atascosa Auto Group (Dodge and Chevrolet), and their sons are in PK4 and Kindergarten. Bridget has a B.A. in International Relations from St. Mary’s University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Madison University and is currently pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at St. Phillip’s College. In her former business life, she was the Executive Director of the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency.
Vice President - Middle School: Jessica Koontz
Jessica recently Co-Chaired the Uniform Exchange and Original Art Works fundraiser. In the past she has also been a frequent Room Parent, PATS volunteer, and Book Fair volunteer. Jessica is married to Claude, President of Austin, Calvert & Flavin Investment Advisors. Their children are in 5th and 6th grades and have been at St. Luke’s for 9 years. Jessica has been a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church since 1975. She has a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Affairs from UT. In her former life, Jessica was a Middle East politically analyst at the CIA.
Vice President – Appreciation: Cathy Case
Cathy has served SLES as a Room Parent, committee member for both the Book Fair and Sally Foster, and was an Original Art Works co-chair for 5 years. Cathy and her husband, Jeff, have enrolled their daughter for 9 years. She is currently a 6th grader. Cathy has a B.A. in business Administration form Incarnate Word College, and, in a former life, was the Director of Training for 1-800-FLOWERS.
Vice President - Special Projects: Paula Scott
Paula recently served as the Get Connected Chairperson. Paula has also been PATS volunteer, Book Fair volunteer, Teacher Appreciation volunteer and Spring Arts Festival volunteer. Paula is married to Trey who is president of Trinity Mineral Management Company where Paula also works part time. Paula and Trey have two sons which are in PK3 and 2nd grade. Paula graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Science degree.
Auction Chair: Ashlee Kinsel
Ashlee is married to Karl Kinsel and together have three children: Garrison age 12, Georgia age 9 and Richard age 5. Thay are involved in the ranching business as well as wildlife management. Ashlee and Karl spend a lot of time down south with their kids hunting, fishing, horseback riding and enjoying the outdoors. Besides working with her husband, Ashlee also works in her family business managing Heldenfels Properties. This year she is chairing the auction party at St. Luke’s along with the delightful Caroline Schupbach. |

VP Families: Liesl Noble
Liesl and her husband Don Noble have 3 children--Virginia (6th grade), Cooper and Walker. Representing the sixth-generation of her family to live in King William, Liesl and Don own and operate Noble Inns--three historic bed-and-breakfast properties. During her 9 years as a St. Luke's parent, she has chaired the Sally Foster fundraiser, Scholastic Bookfair, served as Parent Council Secretary, room parent, communication captain, and volunteer on many other committees. Liesl's community involvement includes the Founder's Council of Southwest Foundation, Christ Episcopal Church, JLSA, Girl Scouts. |

Vice President - Classroom Activities: Rene Euresti
Rene has coordinated the production, design, and printing of the SLES yearbook for the past three years. He, along with his wife Susana, volunteered for classroom activities and school events throughout the three years their two sons, Giovanni and Nathaniel, have been at SLES. Both their boys are now in the 2nd grade. Rene and Susana, both from Texas, have lived in San Antonio for the entire two decades of their marriage and have found a home in the SLES community. Currently this husband and wife team are in the process of developing KidPics, a photography company that specializes in day care, preschool, and student portraits. |

Vice Presendent - Auction Party: Caroline Schupbach
Caroline Schupbach was born and raised in Dallas, but has called San
Antonio home for 15 years. A gradate of The University of Texas, she
is married to Robert and has two children, Margaret (4th grade ) and
James (kindergarten). She is active in the community, having served on
numerous Boards and committees. As a past Chairman of Southwest
Foundation Forum's Gala, Pi Beta Phi's "A Gourmet Soiree", and various
other events, Caroline has a strange love for combining party-planning
with raising funds for a good cause! The Schupbachs have been a part
of the St. Luke's community for three years.
