How do I get my child's Student ID number?
The student ID number is printed on progress reports and report cards.
I've waited 5-7 working days and I still do not have access to my child's grades.
Check to be sure that you added your child to the account. If not, add that child now. If you did create an account, contact the school (826-0664) to check the status of the account.
What if I don't have an email account?
There are many free sites that provide email accounts (i.e. Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.). The email is required so that your username and password can be emailed to you. If you forget your username and password, the system will email it to you upon request.
What if I have a question about my child's grades or assignments?
Please contact the teacher directly. The office will not be able to answer specific questions about grades.
Gradespeed used to remember my username and password now I have to enter it every time?
Gradespeed will no longer remember/store your password on your personal computer. Due to the increase in malicious spy ware, Gradespeed has taken certain security precautions and disabled that feature. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
When I try to sign up. the page "times out" or I get a "Page cannot be displayed". What do I do now?
Please make sure that you have pop-up blockers turned off when you access Parent Connection. Pop-up blockers come in many installed plug-ins and programs. A few examples are Internet Explorer, Google toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, and Yahoo Companion.
It has been brought to our attention that there are some compatibility issues when trying to access Parent Connection with AOL as the internet service provider. This is an undocumented issue. It has been reported to Gradespeed and a solution is pending. Meanwhile, you may try minimizing the AOL window (stay connected) and open another browser (i.e. Firefox) to access Parent Connection. Browsers that offer the best view are Internet Explorer (PC) or Firefox (Mac).
