Fifth and Sixth Grade History Teacher

The fifth and sixth grade history teacher will follow the prescribed St. Luke’s curriculum that is based upon Core Knowledge.  As a middle school teacher, this full-time position must teach multiple sections of fifth and sixth grade history, advise a small group of middle school students, sponsor a middle school club, conduct office hours daily, and be a full participant in our middle school community. St. Luke’s is adopting a one-to-one laptop program next year, so all applicants must demonstrate mastery of educational computer programs, Smart Boards, and related technology.

All St. Luke’s teachers must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred), a state teacher’s certificate, and teaching experience.  To apply, please send your resume and cover letter to: jobopenings@sles-sa.org
