2nd Grade
Sara grew up in Kerrville, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin receiving her degree in Applied Learning and Development. She has taught 1st grade for both a private school in Austin and later a creative arts magnet school in New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, she and her husband moved home to Texas and made San Antonio their home. Sara believes that education should be the process by which we help every child discover his or her own uniqueness. Instead of a classroom of future employees and consumers, she hopes to teach them to be the leaders and adventurers of tomorrow.
