A San Antonio native, ‘Miss Karen’ has been with St. Luke’s since 1986. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with Kindergarten and Early Childhood for Exception Children endorsements and her Master’s degree in Early Childhood from the University of the Incarnate Word. She volunteers her time with the Make-a-Wish Foundation and with Morgan’s Wonderland, an amusement park for special needs persons. In her free time, she enjoys music, singing, movies and plays.
